PSI Seminars Director of Training Kathy Quinlan-Perez Talks About Forgiveness.
Nearly everybody has been hurt, wronged, or disappointed at some time in their lives. When you experience this, how can you release those feelings and move forward stronger and wiser? By practicing forgiveness.
“Forgiveness…it’s a promise that I’m not going to take the past and use it against myself or anyone else.” ~Kathy Quinlan-Perez
PSI Facilitator and Director of Training, Kathy Quinlan-Perez, shares effective ways for freeing yourself from the past and moving through life’s ups and downs with gratitude and inner-peace, and reveals 3 powerful steps that lead down the path of forgiveness, both of yourself and others:
- The first step is to take responsibility for the choices you made that created an undesirable result. This is important so that you can learn from those choices and do things differently in the future.
- Next, look for the lessons in your experience, and grow from them.
- Finally, practice gratitude. Ask yourself what you can be grateful for from the experience.
You’ll know you’ve forgiven someone when you no longer have energy on that person or event. While forgiveness does not change the past, it changes your present and has the power to change your future. Forgiveness allows you to move freely towards your dreams with your mind and heart at peace and in alignment.
