PSI Seminars Curtis & Janice Takemoto-Gentile Talk About Navigating Relationships During the Holidays.
The holidays are underway, and for many, it’s a time of celebration and joy. And it can also be a time of stress and pressure that can take a toll on us and our relationships. There are parties to be scheduled, travel plans to be made, presents to be purchased, menus to be planned, budgets to be followed, and don’t forget the family visits to be navigated. Sometimes the entire point of the holidays – connecting with loved ones – can be overlooked.
Although the holidays are supposed to be filled with joy and reflection on the things we are grateful for, it can often feel like everything appears to speed up, causing us to place impossible expectations on ourselves and others. We might end up taking our holiday related frustration out on the most important people in our lives. Explore ways to be more accepting and appreciative of our friends and loved ones, and learn steps we can take to bring even more happiness and joy into the holidays.
